Love, Success, and Clarity

Opening thoughts: My intentions for this year is centered on inviting more love, success, and clarity into my life. These days I find myself feeling very uncomfortable with complacency and every day routine. I want to be heavy on my empty mind and ‘law of attraction’ shit while putting in the work for the life I truly want and deserve..

Besides catching up on ‘The Walking Dead’- Season 10, ‘Black Lightning’- Season 4, the 3rd season of ‘Good Girls’, and watching old episodes of ‘My 600lb Life’, here are the new shows that have caught my attention.

New T.V. Shows

  1. Behind Her Eyes. A psychological thriller. “A single mother enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.”- Netflix.
  2. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. “The notorious Cecil Hotel grows in infamy when guest Elisa Lam vanishes. From the creator of “The Ted Bundy Tapes,” a dive into crime’s darkest places.”- Netflix. I’m still trying to make sense of this one.

New Movies // Film

  1. Judas and The Black Messiah. “Fred Hampton, a young, charismatic activist, becomes Chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party — putting him directly in the crosshairs of the government, the FBI, and the Chicago Police. But to destroy the revolution, the authorities are going to need a man on the inside.”- HBO Max.
  2. Outside The Wire. “In the near future, a drone pilot sent into a war zone finds himself paired with a top-secret android officer on a mission to stop a nuclear attack.”- Netflix.
  3. I Care A lot. “A court-appointed legal guardian defrauds her older clients and traps them under her care. But her latest mark comes with some unexpected baggage.”- Netflix.
  4. Malcolm & Marie. “As a filmmaker and his girlfriend return home from his movie premiere, smoldering tensions and painful revelations push them toward a romantic reckoning.”- Netflix. Check out Shan Boody’s: 3 Things You Might Have Missed in Malcolm & Marie, she really puts things into perspective.
  5. To All The Boys: Always And Forever. “Senior year of high school takes center stage as Lara Jean returns from a family trip to Korea and considers her college plans — with and without Peter.”- Netflix.

Every since I was in Elementary school, I always kept a diary. I guess you can say, as soon as I learned how to spell and form sentences- I never stopped. Writing is a true passion for me and the cheapest form of therapy. This blog was created as my digital diary and the only one I’m willing to share with the world.
